COMM-4506EL – Project Management

This course is intended to teach the art and science of managing projects. The course is oriented to the life cycle of projects and activities that are performed at different phases of a project’s life cycle. The issues of need assessment, team building, planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, communication, and control will be discussed at length. Application of project management software will be discussed and hands-on practice conducted. PREREQ: successful completion of second year Computer Science or Engineering programs or 30 credits Commerce 2000 series courses. (lec 3) cr 3.
