This course applies the concepts and techniques of auditing to specific components of the financial statements. Students are exposed to the basic steps of performing an audit and developing a greater understanding of the general audit framework. Students develop knowledge of selected current issues facing the auditor today and other topics such as operational and comprehensive auditing are discussed. PREREQ: COMM 4127 (min. 60%).
