The objective of this course is to examine current topics in accounting. Emphasis is placed on users, objectives, decision making and professional judgment. Topics will vary depending on the release of new accounting standards. Detailed coverage will include the issues related to measurement, recording and reporting of financial instruments, nonprofit organizations and public sector financial reporting.
