COMM-4236EL – Capital Market Analysis

This course provides the fundamental concepts, theories and analytical tools essential for the analysis of developments in Canadian capital markets. Its objective is to show the wide range of instruments for financing, investing and controlling risk available in today146s financial markets. Its focus is on corporate strategic planning with respect to financing decisions. It covers topics such as the nature and role of the capital markets, theories of interest rate determination and structure, players on the capital markets (including money, bond, mortgage, stock and derivative markets).
