An introduction to the practice of gerontology through an internship experience in the community. Students work within settings such as a centre for seniors, a seniors’ focused program within an agency, or in a seniors’ care facility or residence. The course provides both practical experience and the opportunity for reflection and criticism of gerontological theory. PREREQ: GERO 1015 & 3106. (lec 3) cr 3
