This course prepares the student teachers for their practical experiences in the classrooms of the province during their pre-service experience. It is closely integrated with the other courses offered in the pre-service program and, with them, aims at providing the knowledge, guidance, experiences and resources students need to become thoughtful practitioners and “lifelong learners”. It is designed to allow students to demonstrate that they are meeting the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession and the Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession established by the Ontario College of Teachers. cr 6
