The course focuses on developing skills to exercise professional judgment and to apply generally accepted accounting principles. Emphasis is placed on both the theoretical basis and the technical application and method of presentation for each advanced topic. Detailed coverage will include the issues related to measurement, recording and reporting of intercorporate investments, business combinations, consolidated financial statements, foreign currency transactions, foreign currency financial statements, and segment and interim reporting.
