This course examines the social implications of disability in Canadian society. In particular, it examines issues that impact on the well-being of persons with disabilities, including poverty, unemployment and under employment and violence. The course considers issues related to culture, race and gender. PREREQ: SWLF 1006/1007 or permission of the instructor. (lec 3) cr 3.
