Students explore the historical progress of the Christian Church in its institutional aspects and self-understanding, the meaning of Church in the modern world, different models of Church, the relationship of Church and Churches, the role of the Church(es) in political and social contexts. (S) (lec 3) cr 3. Students may not retain credit for both RLST 3107 and RLST 3105.
