RLST-2297EL – Western Mysticism

An exploration of Western mystical traditions. Topics may include: the mystic path, the vision of ultimate reality and the mystic world-view in the Western traditions. The course also examines some of the problems and methods involved in the study of mysticism by making a case study of selected accounts of Western mystical experiences.
