POLI-3756EL – Politics of the Environment

This course examines the range of discourses that characterize the politics of the earth. Having established a broad context, the courses then focuses on environment politics and policy- making in Canada, including federal and provincial conflicts, the role and interests of aboriginal peoples, Canadian-American relations, and the implications of globalization. (lec 3) cr 3. This course is intended for third year students. PRE-REQ: POLI 1005 (POLI 1006/1007) or equivalent or permission of instructor.
