Both neurological and behavioural models of motor control are discussed. Topics include: neuroanatomy of the motor system, motor programming, mass spring model, reflexes, feedback, feed forward (tuning), Fitts’ Law, animal models of movement and action theory. PREREQ: PHED 1506/7. (lec 3) cr 3.
