This is the final clinical placement in a midwifery practice. Supervision is increasingly indirect. Students are responsible for formulating and providing care to an entire caseload of women experiencing normal and complex childbearing. Tutorials and workshop sessions will include peer case review, preparation for registration and establishing a midwifery practice in Ontario. An intensive course will precede the placement and cover topics relevant to entering the profession of midwifery. PREREQ: MIDW 4004. cr 15
