Begins with a review of vectors, lines and planes. This is followed by a study of scalar functions of several variables including such topics as: multiple integration, Jacobians, gradient and applications to curves, surfaces and volumes. Vector functions are studied with particular attention given to: divergence, curl, the theorems of Green, Gauss and Stokes and applications. PREREQ: MATH 1037 & 1057. (lec 3) cr 3
