This course builds on the foundation established in “Optimal Aging I” by continuing the study of optimal aging in terms of productivity, spirituality, social theories, social supports, sexuality, and end-of-life issues. Emphasis will be made on recognizing caregiving and supportive environments in association with aging. PREREQ: GERO 2016. (lec 3) cr 3. Students may not retain credit for both GERO 2017 and GERO 2015.
