GEOG-4237EL – Land Use Planning in Canada

A review of land use planning in urban Canada. Topics include: the role of the Government of Canada in dealing with national problems of urban settlement, the involvement of the Province of Ontario with municipal land use planning, and a case study review of the planning process within the Regional Municipality of Sudbury. (lec 3) cr 3. Students may not retain credit for both GEOG 4237 and GEOG 4817.
