This course deals with the basic principle of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical drive systems and their applications with particular emphasis on equipment. Electrical power distribution, both on surface and underground, is discussed. Government regulations pertaining to the use of these systems are reviewed. PREREQ: PHYS 1007. (lec 3) cr 3.
