ENGR-4116EL – Industrial Engineering

Deals with the main techniques used by industrial engineers in production and operations management. Forecasting methods, engineering capacity planning, facility location, design and computer simulation of production and operations systems, as well as the role of the industrial engineer, are discussed. Computer applications constitute an important part of the course assignments and involve the development of flow charts and computer programs related to the quantitative approaches covered by the course.
