This course will cover such topics as unions (their impact and growth), women in the workplace, social insurance programs, unemployment and inflation, and competing approaches to labour economics. PREREQ: ECON 1006/7 or permission of instructor. (lec 3) cr 3. Students may not retain credit for both ECON 3046 and ECON 4046.
