The course will investigate microeconomic issues affecting the Canadian economy. Student loans and postsecondary education; patents and copyrights in a digital age; regulation of market power, information disclosure and product safety; homelessness; and/or other issues will be covered. PREREQ: ECON 1006/7. (lec 3) cr 3. Students may not retain credit for both ECON 2086 and ECON 2085.
