BIOL-3117EL – Infectious Diseases

This course covers the principles of medical microbiology; resistance and immunity; and infectious diseases of the genitourinary tract, respiratory tract, digestive tract and skin. For each disease, causative agent, symptomology, chemotherapy and the possibility of immunization are considered. PREREQ: BIOL 2026 or BIOL 2111. (lec 3, lab 3) cr 3. Students may not retain credit for both BIOL 3117 and BIOL 2110.
